How to Measure Your Ring Size
Method 1 – Measure your finger
-
Wrap a narrow strip of paper or a piece of string around the base of your finger.
-
Mark where the ends meet.
-
Measure the length in millimetres.
-
Compare the measurement with the finger circumference column in the chart above.
Method 2 – Measure a ring you already own
-
Choose a ring that fits comfortably on the intended finger.
-
Measure its inner diameter in millimetres, from one inside edge to the opposite inside edge.
-
Compare the measurement with the inner diameter column.
Helpful Tips
-
Measure your finger at the end of the day, when fingers are usually slightly larger.
-
Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold or very hot.
-
Measure more than once to help ensure accuracy.
-
If your measurement falls between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size.
-
Wider rings may require a slightly larger size for a comfortable fit.
